So, I’m always looking for more efficient and economical ways to deodorize my house and leave it smelling fantastic.
With the holidays quickly approaching I’ve been experimenting with scent hacks to make my house smell like the holidays.

1. A Wax Warmer
I love my wax warmer. I have the Coosa Ceramic Heart Shaped Candle Warmer and couldn’t be happier.
Wax warmers do a great job of making your house smell wonderful.
They are relatively inexpensive to buy, look beautiful and fit just about every type of decor.
After the one-time investment of buying the warmer you can easily buy different wax melts in virtually any scent you want.

2. A Simmer Pot

A simmer pot is one of my favorite ways to deodorize my house.
Honestly, it’s probably one of the easiest and quickest ways to make your house smell like Christmas.
With ingredients you’ve likely already have sitting in your fridge and pantry, simmer pots come together quickly and don’t usually require any fancy ingredients.
They also work really well at eliminating odors and making your house smell wonderful.
It’s such an easy and effective way to make your house smell like Christmas folks!
I’ve tried dozens of different combinations and this is by far my favorite.
Audrey and Vera nailed it when it comes to finding the perfect mixture and balance of scents to leave your house smelling like Christmas.
Simmer Pot Hack: To get around having to leave the stove on for long periods of time, a super cheap single serve crock pot achieves just about the same result.
I use a 1.5 Quart Single Serve Crock Pot and couldn’t be happier. It makes tending to a simmer pot 100% hassle free.

3. An Essential Oil Diffuser
Using an essential oil diffuser is another effective way to make your house smell like Christmas.
Essential Oil Diffusers are awesome because only a few drops of essential oil helps deodorize the air and leave a wonderful fragrance in your space.
I have the Essential Oil Himalayan Salt Lamp which is a gorgeous addition to our living room.
By adding only a few drops of my favorite essential oils I’m able to add the most beautiful holiday scent to our living room.
My current favorite combination is peppermint and orange.

Scented Pine Cones are also a fabulous way to add a super festive fragrance to your home.
They are relatively inexpensive to purchase and can easily be spread out throughout your home to make different areas of your space smell like Christmas.
You can even reuse your pine cones year after year.
