Christmas will certainly be different this year. In fact, Christmas will be unlike any holiday we’ve ever seen.
There’s a real possibility that our current health and safety restrictions will prevent us from hosting or celebrating Christmas with those people who are most important to us.
We’re the family that hosts a pretty large Christmas eve party every year. So, we’re looking to incorporate some meaningful ways to celebrate Christmas during Covid into our holiday traditions this year.
Travel might not be an option so getting together to celebrate Christmas during Covid will not be a reality for most folks including our family.
As a result, we’ve been busy planning meaningful ways to celebrate Christmas during Covid and make it a special holiday for our 5 year old.

#1 Watch Holiday Movies
Starting on December 1st we plan to start watching our favorite Holiday movies to help boost Christmas spirit and celebrate Christmas during Covid.

#2 Order A New Ornament For Your Tree
Another of family traditions involves buying a new ornament to decorate our tree. With shelter in place restrictions we’re going to opt turn this into a virtual tradition. So, we’re going to celebrate Christmas during Covid by ordering a special ornament to represent 2020.
#3 Bake Christmas Cookies
Baking has always been one of our favorite ways to prepare and celebrate for Christmas. This year, we’re going to bake our favorite treats starting December 1st and enjoy them throughout the month as we watch holiday movies and listen to Christmas music. #4 Be A Cookie Elf
We love to bake holiday cookies and share them with your family and friends. Every year we bake about a dozen different types of cookies and prepare tins and platters of cookies to share with those who are most important to us.
This year we plan to celebrate Christmas during Covid by preparing tins of cookies and being contactless cookies elves! We’re going to seal up our best baked goodies and drop them off on our friends and families porches with contactless delivery.
#5 Decorate Your Tree Early
I look forward to putting up my tree all year long. It’s probably one of my absolute favorite ways to prepare for the holidays. This year, we’re going to celebrate Christmas during Covid by putting up our tree early and enjoying it as much as we can. Nothing boosts holiday spirit like a beautifully decorated Christmas tree with twinkling lights.
