Easy DIY Non-Toxic No Cook Jello Play-Doh
Our first step was to measure out all our ingredients.
This easy no-cook Jello Play-Doh is awesome because it uses the simplest ingredients that I’m sure you have in your pantry right now.
Water + Jello + Oil + Flour + Salt
How easy is that?
Also, we love that there’s no cream of tartar in this no cook Jello Play-Doh. Although we add cream of tartar to our cooked DIY Play-Doh Recipe we opted not to add it here because the dough is plenty elastic without it. And, the salt has got us covered when it comes to preservation.
After measuring out all our ingredients we boiled our water, dissolved our Jello and added in our oil in a medium sized bowl.
We opted to use Strawberry Jello because that’s what we had on hand. But, any type of Jello would work well.
Here are some awesome options you can use for this no cook Jello Play-Doh
Once our Jello and oil were well incorporated we added in our our flour and salt.
The mixture will start to bubble a little which is totally normal.
With a spatula we folded the dry ingredients into the wet. It takes a good amount of elbow grease to get the mixture smooth. So, keep on stirring.
Once the wet and dry were well incorporated we turned the dough out onto a well floured board.
The mixture will be very sticky at this point which is normal. Add more flour a little at a time until your dough is smooth, no-longer sticky and can be easily handled.
We added nearly 1/4 cup of extra flour to get our dough smooth. You’ll have to go at it a little flour at a time. So, be patient.

Yeh, no the ratios on this are very off. I used not 1, not 2, but 3 cups and change extra flour to get this to a play dough consistency. I cried a little bit as I made a reminder to myself to get cheap non organic flour because that’s what really made this sting. I would try doing half the amount of water for a cup and a half of flour and leave everything else the same
