With two options to choose from, this day at the pool printable can be easily adapted for younger and older kids.

If you have a child who is a fluent reader you can use the difficult version. So, in addition to promoting numeracy, sorting and coloring your child is encouraged to read colors too.

And, for younger kids who are not yet reading independently the easy version is best. The easy version of this counting and coloring activity includes color coding for kids who are not yet able to read written colors.

This count and color activity requires very little in the way of supplies.

But, we do highly suggest a color printer so that the color coding comes through. In addition, a good set of markers or crayons are required for children to color the activity.
