Instructions
Print & Cut: Start by printing the Easter egg template on your favorite color of cardstock. Carefully cut out the different sections of the egg, just like in the example above. If you’re crafting with little ones, you might need to help with the cutting.
Prep the Contact Paper: Lay the Easter egg template face down on a piece of contact paper, with the sticky side facing up. This will hold everything in place as you work your magic!
Add Some Color: Tear or cut tissue paper into small pieces in a mix of bright, happy colors. Stick them onto the contact paper, filling in the egg shape to create a colorful, mosaic effect.
Trim It Up: Once your egg is fully decorated, use scissors to carefully trim away any extra cardstock and contact paper around the edges. This will give your suncatcher a clean, polished look.
Display & Enjoy: Hang your finished Easter egg suncatcher in a sunny window and watch the light shine beautifully through the colorful tissue paper. It’s like having a mini stained glass masterpiece!
