Supplies
Here’s what you’ll need to get started on your Easter basket name craft:
- Easter Basket Template – You can grab your free copy at the bottom of this post.
- Cardstock – One piece of colored cardstock for the basket and a sheet of white cardstock for the Easter eggs.
- Scissors – For cutting out your basket and eggs.
- Crayons, Markers, or Colored Pencils – Choose your favorite colors to decorate your basket and eggs!
- Glue Stick – To assemble your basket and eggs.
Instructions
Print the Easter Basket Name Craft Template – Start by printing the free template at the bottom of this post. Then, color in the basket, bow, and Easter eggs. We used pencil crayons, but feel free to use markers or crayons—whatever you prefer!
Cut Out the Pieces – Carefully cut out the basket, bow, and eggs. Younger kids may need a little help with this part.
Attach the Eggs and bow – Have your child glue the number of eggs needed to spell their name onto the basket. Just a small dab of glue on each egg will do the trick! Glue the bow to the top of the basket.
Write the Name – Using a Sharpie or black marker, have your child write one letter of their name on each egg.
