- Glue Stick – For securing the pieces together.
- Scissors – Kid-friendly scissors work best for younger crafters.
- Black Sharpie – Perfect for outlining and adding personal messages.
Instructions
Step 1: Print a copy of our Mother’s Day tulip craft template on high-quality white cardstock. We recommend Neenah White — it’s super sturdy and gives the finished craft a polished look.
Step 2: Color in the planter using your favorite shades. Get creative with patterns or stick to classic tones — it’s all about making it personal! Once it’s colored, carefully cut it out.
Step 3: Next, color the flower stems and cut them out. Glue the stems to the back of the planter. For a more natural look, trim the stems to different lengths so the tulips sit at varying heights — this makes them all visible and adds a nice layered effect.
Step 5: Now for the fun part! Color the tulips and have kids write a reason why they love mom on each one. Then, carefully cut them out.
Step 6: Use a dab of glue to attach the tulips to the tops of the stems.
