Flower Name Craft

This flower name craft is a perfect activity for preschool and kindergarten kids! It helps build name recognition while encouraging creativity — and it’s so much fun to make.
Just grab our free printable template, some colors, glue, and scissors, and let the crafting begin!
Supplies
- Flower Template – Grab your copy at the bottom of this post!
- Cardstock – We recommend Neenah white for a sturdy base.
- Markers, Crayons, or Colored Pencils – For adding vibrant color to your flower!
- Scissors – To cut out your flower pieces.
- Glue – To assemble your beautiful creation.
- Black Marker – For writing your child’s name on the flower!
Instructions
Print and Cut – Start by printing a copy of the flower template at the bottom of this post. Cut out all the pieces, including the flower, stem, leaves, eyes, and name circles.
Color the Flower – Using your choice of colors, color in the different parts of the flower. Let the kids get creative and use vibrant colors to really make the flower pop!
Assemble the Flower – Glue the flower to the top of the stem and attach the leaves to either side of the stem.
Add the Name Circles – Take the letter circles and glue them along the stem. Use one circle for each letter of the child’s name.
Write the Name – Using a black Sharpie or marker, write one letter on each circle to spell out the child’s name.
Add the Eyes and Face – Glue the eyes onto the flower’s face, and use a black marker to draw a cute little mouth.
