Making these Christmas tree Oreos only require a handful of ingredients that you can buy from the baking aisle at any local grocery stores or online via Amazon.

Instructions

Step 1: Melt the candy- Melt the white candy melts according to the package instructions until smooth and creamy in a microwave-safe bowl.

Melt the green candy melts in a separate bowl, also until smooth.

We suggest melting the candy in 30-second increments in the microwave scraping down the edge of the bowl between intervals.

Be mindful not to over heat the candy – it will burn!

So, use 30-second intervals to be safe. If you’re microwave runs extra hot then cut it down to 15-second intervals.

Step 2: Dip bottoms of cookies- Dip the bottom of each Oreo into the white candy melts, ensuring it’s fully coated at the bottom only.

Gently tap the fork on the edge of the bowl to remove excess candy melt.

Place the coated Oreos onto a baking sheet or plate lined with parchment paper or wax paper.

Step 3: Create Christmas tree shape – Transfer the melted green candy melts to a piping bag.

Drizzle the green candy melts over the top of each Oreo to create a Christmas tree. The best way is to use a zig-zag motion.

*Tip: if you don’t have a piping bag you can use a ziplock bag with the corner of the bag snipped off.

Step 4: Decorate the Christmas trees – While the green candy coating is still wet, place a star sprinkle on the top of the tree.

Sprinkle the rainbow nonpareils sprinkles on top of each dipped Oreo cookie to create the perfect Christmas tree.

Step 5: Set and serve – Allow the cookies to set completely in a single layer at room temperature.

If you live in a warm climate, you can speed up this process by placing the baking sheet or plate in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes.

Once set, carefully remove the Christmas tree Oreos from the parchment paper.

Step 6: Storage: Store the Christmas tree Oreos in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week.
