- Scissors – Kid-safe scissors for little hands or regular scissors for grown-up helpers.

Instructions
Start by printing the Earth Day template on cardstock for a sturdy craft that lasts! Print the first page on white, the second on green, and the third on red to give your project the perfect pop of color. Once printed, carefully cut out all the pieces—and you’re ready to start crafting!
Apply a generous layer of glue over your Earth shape, then press a piece of old newspaper right on top, smoothing it down as you go. Once it’s securely in place, grab your scissors and carefully trim away the excess newspaper around the edges to reveal your Earth!
Grab a paintbrush and lightly coat the newspaper-covered Earth with a thin layer of blue paint. Make sure to cover the entire surface, letting the newspaper print peek through for a fun, textured look! Set it aside and let it dry completely before moving on to the next step.
Now it’s time to add the landmasses! Flip each green piece over, spread a thin layer of glue on the back, and carefully press them onto your Earth shape. Make sure they’re nice and secure, then let the glue dry before moving on!
Add the finishing touch to your Earth Day craft by gluing the heart in place! Spread a thin layer of glue on the back of your red heart shape, then press it firmly onto the center of your Earth. Let it dry, and your beautiful recycled Earth Day craft is complete!
