Make A Paper Bag Turkey Craft
Download and print our FREE turkey template. Cut out the various parts of the turkey template including the turkey feet, snood and nose.
Trace the feet, snood and nose onto construction paper. The turkey feet and nose should be traced on orange paper while the snood should be traced on red construction paper. Cut out the various parts and tape or use a glue dot to fix the red snood to the orange triangle nose.
Start assembling the turkey paper bag puppet by gluing the turkey feet to the bottom of the bag and the nose/snood to the top of the bag.
Cut round circles out of black and white construction paper making sure the white circles are slightly larger than the black. Glue the white circles to the black to create the Turkey eyes. If you want you can use self-adhesive googly eyes with black pupils to make this step a little easier for especially young kids.
Glue on your Turkey’s eyes using your preferred type of glue or tape.
Fold one piece of red, orange and yellow construction paper accordion style to create feather shapes. Stack them together. Use a little tacky glue or double sided tape to hold them together to create the turkey’s tail feathers on the back of the paper bag.
Glue the accordion turkey feathers to the back of the bag to complete your brown paper bag turkey craft.
