Step 1: Print a copy of our ice cream cone craft template. The download instructions and link are located at the very bottom of this post. Each template has a deconstructed ice cream cone including: a cone shape, 3 scoops of ice cream, sprinkles and a cherry.

Step 2: Have kids color the different parts of the ice cream cone craft using their choice of wax crayons, coloring pencils or markers. They can try to replicate the color of their favorite flavors while making their own cones.

Step 3: Using scissors, kids need to cut out all the different parts of their ice cream cone. Especially young children will need some extra help cutting out the smaller pieces. So, plan to help them cut out their sprinkles and cherry.
