I originally created this fun Mother’s Day activity for a local kids craft group I host, and it was such a hit that I had to share it with my readers here on the blog!
Made with just a few simple supplies—cardstock, markers, scissors, and glue—this Mother’s Day trophy craft is easy enough for little hands yet engaging enough for older kids who want to create something special for Mom.
Supplies
Trophy Template – Grab a free copy at the bottom of this post.
Cardstock – You’ll need one sheet of colored cardstock and one sheet of white cardstock.
Markers, Colored Pencils, or Crayons – Perfect for decorating the flowers and heart.
Scissors – For cutting out the trophy and its accessories.
Glue – To assemble the craft.
Instructions
1️⃣ Print the trophy template onto cardstock—use colored cardstock for the first page and white cardstock for the second.
2️⃣ Color the heart and flowers with markers, colored pencils, or wax crayons.
3️⃣ Carefully cut out all the components of the Mother’s Day trophy craft, including the trophy, heart, and flowers.
4️⃣Apply a small amount of glue to attach the heart to the trophy. Then, glue the flowers to the top edge of the trophy to complete your craft.
✨ Tip: Younger children might need some help cutting out the trophy, so be sure to stay close and assist if necessary.
