Why We Love Printable Scavenger Hunts
If you’re looking for a low key (aka low energy) Halloween activity then this certainly isn’t it. If that’s what you’re after may we suggest a: Halloween color by number, Halloween word search or Halloween I Spy game.
Scavenger hunts like our free printable Halloween scavenger hunt clues are a huge hit with children because they are high energy and engage kids in searching and finding objects – they literally become treasure hunters.
Kids love to play a fun game of hide and seek so it’s no surprise that they get very excited when they are faced with even the most simple scavenger hunt.
Add in a fun Halloween theme and you’re almost guaranteed to have a great time.
Plus, the glue cards point them in the direction they need to go and they use their observational skills (aka sleuth detective skills) to figure out where the different clues will send them. And, if they are playing in teams it can instill a little friendly competition or encourage team work to find their next clue.
At the end of the hunt they are often rewarded with a grand prize.
