Printable Surfboard Crafts For Kids
It’s almost summertime – and, we’ve been busy working on fun summer crafts and activities for kids to make when they are on summer vacation.
Today, we’re sharing a really fun free printable surfboard pattern you can use to create your own custom surfboards at home.
These cute printable templates are perfect for some summer crafting fun.
We used our favorite twisty crayons and markers to complete ours. But, you can use a variety of different craft supplies like paint, wax crayons, pencils, paint pens and even markers.
Or, make this into a mixed media project using leftover crafting materials to cover the surface area of your boards and create something truly unique!

Printable Surfboard Templates
Our free surfboard templates are perfect for kids of all ages during summer break.
Children really enjoy being creative and making eye catching surfboard designs. This fun activity would be a great addition to any summer bucket list!
Each pdf file contains 4 printable surfboard templates – and each surfboard outline is different. One has parallel curves and a round tail while another is an almond surfboard with smooth curves running along the template’s length.
Each of our printable surfboard templates was created on standard size 8.5 x 11 paper. For best results we suggest printing the full scale templates on high quality card stock paper.
Once done, you can even glue your completed surfboard craft to construction paper for some added durability.

What You’ll Need
- Printable surfboard templates – the download link is located at the bottom of this post
- Printer and high quality card stock paper – white paper would work too but it’s not as durable
- Coloring tools – wax crayons, twisty crayons, markers, acrylic paint pens, coloring pencils
- Scissors
- Glue
- Construction paper – you can add a backing to your completed surf board to make it more durable

Our printable surfboard templates were created on standard size paper. Each pdf file contains 4 different surf board templates.
To download simply click on the download link located at the very bottom of this post. The file is meant to be in adobe acrobat pdf format. So, make sure your web browser and adobe acrobat is up to date.
Once you’ve downloaded the pdf document you can easily print as many copies of our surfboard templates as you will need for your project.
