- Print the Template: Download and print the free Christmas tree name craft template on white cardstock.
- Cut Out the Shapes: Carefully cut out the tree triangles, trunk, star, and ornaments.
- Build the Tree: Count how many letters are in your child’s name and cut out that many triangles. Each triangle will hold one letter ornament.
- Color the Pieces: Use crayons, markers, or colored pencils to color the triangles green (or any color you like!). Decorate the ornaments and star, too.
- Assemble the Tree: Glue the triangles vertically above the tree stump, starting with the bottom and working up.
- Add the Ornaments: Write one letter of your child’s name on each ornament, then glue them to the tree.
- Finish with the Star: Glue the star on top to complete your festive Christmas tree!
Tips & Variations

- Add sparkle with glitter glue or metallic markers for a little extra holiday magic.
- For longer names, print extra triangles to make a taller tree.
- Use self-laminating sheets to laminate the finished craft to turn it into a durable decoration or keepsake.
- Use small pom poms or craft gems instead of paper ornaments for a 3D effect.
