Instructions
Glue your fake leaves to the upper part of the back of the wood slice. Glue the leaves in a fan shape to make the turkey feathers.
If you want the feathers to appear thicker you can glue on a second layer of leaves. Allow the glue to dry completely before moving on to the next step.
Turn your wood slice over so the leaves are on the back of the turkey.
Dab 2 small dots of glue and place the googly eyes on the turkey’s face. We glued ours to the top center area of the wood slice.
Let the glue dry completely.
Cut out two small turkey feet shapes from the orange construction paper. Glue these to the bottom front of the wood slice.
Cut a small triangle from the orange construction paper for the turkey’s beak. From the red construction paper, cut out a small, rounded shape for the waddle (the red part that hangs below the beak).
Glue the orange triangle (beak) below the googly eyes. Then glue the red waddle next to the beak.
Let all glued parts dry completely. Once dry, your Wood Slice Turkey Craft is ready to display!
