Halloween season has finally arrived and we couldn’t be more excited.
Today, we’re adding an easy ghost craft to our growing collection of non-spooky Halloween crafts for younger kids and big kids too!
This cute Halloween ghost craft is a simple craft that children of all ages enjoy making- it comes together in a handful of easy steps.
Our simple ghost craft is a great craft for working on fine motor skills during a Halloween unit at school.
Or, it’s a easy way to have some screen free Halloween fun at home with children.
Completed ghost crafts can be used as Halloween decorations at home or in the classroom.
You can even hang completed paper ghosts throughout your home to show off your child’s not-so-spooky ghost crafts.

Craft Supplies
Here are the simple supplies you’ll need to make this easy ghost craft.
- Ghost outline – the free template you’ll need to make your own ghost craft is located at the bottom of this post.
- Printer and white paper
- Construction paper – you’ll need white and black construction paper.
- Black marker
- Glue stick
- Scissors – we love these blunt tip scissors for little hands. They offer a comfort grip a child’s hands while they practice cutting.
- Googly Eyes (optional) – if you’re making this with younger kids and toddlers you can opt to use googly eyes instead of making your own.
How To Make An Easy Ghost Craft
Print a copy of our free ghost template on a white piece of paper.
To download the easy ghost craft outline you’ll need to fill in the form located at the very bottom of this post.
Cut out the ghost structures including: the ghost’s body and arms.
Trace the different parts of the ghost’s body onto white construction paper or cardstock. Cut out the pieces.
Use a black marker to outline the ghost’s arms and body like we did above.
Glue the ghosts arms to the back of the body to create a simple ghost shape.
Draw eyes and a mouth freehand on black construction paper and cut them out.
Glue the ghost’s eyes and mouth to the ghost’s face.
