Supplies
- Free Rainbow Template – Grab yours at the bottom of this post!
- Colorful Tissue Paper – We love using these pre-cut tissue paper squares for easy crafting!
- Contact Paper or Self-Laminating Sheets – Perfect for mess-free sticking and creating a stained-glass effect!
- Kid-Safe Scissors – Little hands will need these for snipping and shaping!
Instructions
Step 1
Start by printing out the rainbow template and cutting it out with a pair of scissors. If you’re working with little hands, don’t worry—this part can be tricky for younger kids. Feel free to jump in and help them with the cutting to make sure those rainbow arcs come out just right!
Step 2
Next, carefully place your rainbow template face down onto a piece of sticky contact paper or a self-laminating sheet. This will be your base for adding all those vibrant colors!
Craft tip: Use painter’s tape to secure the corners of your contact paper while you work. This little trick keeps everything in place and prevents the contact paper from curling up as you add your tissue paper, making the whole process a lot smoother!
Step 3
Now for the fun part—grab your colorful tissue paper squares and start sticking them onto each ring of the rainbow! You can mix and match the colors however you like. Let your creativity flow as you cover each section with a burst of bright hues!
