Supplies
- Leprechaun template – you can download a copy of the free leprechaun template you’ll need to make this torn paper leprechaun craft at the very bottom of this blog post
- Cardstock in white for printing the template
- Construction paper in orange, green and black
- Glue stick
- Googly eyes (optional)
- Pink marker
- Scissors
Instructions
Print a copy of our free leprechaun template on white cardstock paper.
Tear up orange construction paper into small pieces. Using a small amount of glue, stick the orange pieces of paper all over the leprechaun’s beard.
Tear up green construction paper into small pieces. Using a small amount of glue, stick the green pieces of paper all over the leprechaun’s hat. We used a different shade of green for the shamrock.
Tear up black construction paper into small pieces. Glue the pieces onto the hat band.
Use a pink marker to color in the leprechaun’s nose.
Glue on a set of googly eyes or use the eyes that come with the template.
Color in the leprechaun’s mouth and glue it to the template using a small amount of glue.
Let your torn paper leprechaun craft dry completely before displaying it.
