Easy Vampire Craft For Kids
We love Halloween and I’d like to bet you do too if you’re here reading this post.
What we’re not really fans of are all the gory and scary things that also come with the spooky season.
So, we’ve been busy working on really cute screen free Halloween activities for children who enjoy the cute part of Halloween traditions and festivities.
Today, we’re adding this easy vampire craft to our large and growing collection of non-scary Halloween crafts for kids.
This simple Halloween craft uses a free printable template we created, construction paper and glue. It’s really quite simple and fun to make. So, don’t forget to add it to your Halloween bucket list this year.

Craft Supplies
Here are the simple supplies you’ll need to make this easy Vampire craft for Halloween.
- Vampire template – the free template you’ll need to make your own vampire craft is located at the bottom of this post. Fill in the form and we will email your the download link.
- Printer and white paper
- Construction paper or cardstock– you’ll need black, red, blue and white.
- Glue stick or double-sided tape
- Scissors – we love these blunt tip scissors for little hands. They offer a comfort grip a child’s hands while they practice cutting.
- Googly Eyes (optional) – if you’re making this with younger kids and toddlers you can opt to use googly eyes instead of making your own.
How To Make An Easy Vampire Craft
Step 1: Download and print a copy of our free printable vampire template.
To download you’ll need to fill in the form located at the bottom of this blog post. We’ll email you the download link.
Cut out the different parts of the vampire craft including the head, hair, eyebrows and bow-tie.
Step 2: Fold the black paper in half and cut out a semi-circle to create the vampires upper body.
Cut a V in the upper part of the body and glue a small piece of white construction paper behind it.
Step 3: Trace the vampire’s head onto blue paper and cut it out. Glue the head behind the vampire’s body.
Step 4: Trace a rectangle free-hand onto red paper to create the vampire’s collar. Cut it out and glue it behind the vampire’s head like we did above.
Step 5: create the vampire’s eyes and a button for his shirt by creating circles in your black and white paper.
For the eyes, create 2 large circles and 2 very small ones.
Layer the eyes with a large white circle, medium sized black circle and small white circle.
Cut out a small white circle for the button.
Step 6: Trace and cut out the vampires hair and bow-tie like we did above.
Step 7: Glue the vampire’s hair and bow tie on to complete our easy vampire craft.
