How to Make Fork Painted Snowflakes
Pour a small amount of white paint onto the paper plate, enough to dip your fork easily without making a mess.
Be sure to spread out the paint slightly for easy access during the craft.
Before you begin, prepare your workspace by covering it with a layer of newspaper or an inexpensive plastic tablecloth. This will help protect your table or counter from accidental paint spills, splatters, or smudges, making cleanup a breeze.
Dip the fork into the paint and cover well.
Gently press the fork down onto the blue construction paper, points pointing outward.
Repeat this step and go around in a circle, creating a snowflake.
Our snowflakes had about 10 fork prints each. But, encourage children to experiments with more or less fork prints to create unique snowflake shapes.
Sprinkle glitter on the wet paint and shake any excess glitter off.
Continue the steps above for the desired amount of snowflakes you’d like to make.
