All you’ll need to make this torn paper mittens craft is our free template, construction paper and some glue! So easy and so much fun!
Supplies
- Mittens template – to snag a pdf copy of the free template you’ll need to make this torn paper mittens craft you’ll have to head to the very bottom of this post.
- Cardstock paper in your choice of background color. We went with purple but any color would work.
- Construction paper in 2 different colors
- Glue stick
- White acrylic paint pen
- Washable markers or pencil crayons
Instructions
Print a copy of our mittens template on your choice of colored cardstock. We used purple but you can use any color you would like. Print the second page of the template on white cardstock.
Tear pink construction paper into small pieces. Then, using a small amount of glue, stick the pieces all over the upper part of the mittens.
Tear white construction paper into small pieces. Then, using a small amount of glue, stick the pieces onto the cuff of the mitten.
Color the polka dots on the second page of the template with your choice of colors. Then, cut them out and glue them to the mittens’ hands.
Use a white acrylic paint pen to paint the rope that connects the mittens.
Draw stars or snowflakes on the background of your torn paper mitten craft to make it stand out.
Let your torn paper mittens craft dry completely.
