Haven’t downloaded the template yet? All you need to do is scroll to the very bottom of this post and fill in the form.
Step 2: Using scissors trim your cedar branch to the right height. Use your paper to guide you and trim away small branches to create your tree shape. You can make trees in a variety of different sizes – from small to big, each tree is completely unique.
Step 3: Spread glue all over your cedar branch. We used school glue but you could also use craft glue or a hot glue gun. If you’re going the hot glue route then you’ll need to supervise kiddos or do this step for them. Let the glue dry completely before moving on to the next step.
Step 4: Using a sharpie draw ornaments on your Christmas tree nature craft. Then, color in the ornaments using your favorite colors. There are so many fun ways to decorate your cedar branch Christmas tree so have fun with it and be creative.
Tip* Create natural ornaments by collecting natural elements like small pine cones, pine needles, seed pods, acorn ornaments etc.
