Instructions

Step 1: Print the free sun name craft template on cardstock. Print the first page on yellow cardstock and the second page on orange. Feel free to switch up the colors if you’d like—any bright, sunny combo will look great!

Step 2: Carefully cut out all the pieces, including the sun, sun rays, and sunglasses.

Step 3: Use a small amount of glue to attach the rays around the sun. We used 16 rays, but you can use more or fewer depending on the length of your child’s name (or how sunny you want it to look!).

Step 4: Glue the sunglasses onto the sun’s face, then use a black marker or Sharpie to draw a fun smile or smirk.

Step 5: Write one letter of your child’s name on each ray using the marker.
