Supplies
- Tackle box name craft Template – Download the printable PDF at the very bottom of this post.
- Cardstock – You’ll need one piece of colorful cardstock for the box and one piece of white cardstock for the fish and name.
- Coloring Tools – Markers, crayons, colored pencils, or acrylic paint pens—any of these will work perfectly to decorate.
- Glue – To assemble and attach the pieces.
- Scissors – For cutting out the tackle box, fish, and name pieces.
Instructions
Step 1: Download and print the tackle box name craft template. Print the tackle box on your choice of colorful cardstock (the first page), and the fish and letter circles on white cardstock (the second page).
Step 2: Color in the fish and letter circles using your favorite coloring tools. Markers, crayons, colored pencils, or acrylic paint pens will all work beautifully!
Step 3: Carefully cut out the tackle box, fish, eyes, and letter circles with scissors. Take your time to get clean, crisp edges!
Step 4: Assemble your tackle box by gluing the fish onto the front. Then, glue on one eye for each fish. Be sure to leave enough room for the name circles either above or below the fish!
Step 5: Glue the letter circles onto the tackle box, spacing them where you like to spell out the name.
Step 6: Use a black marker or Sharpie to write one letter on each circle. Now you’ve got your personalized tackle box name craft ready to show off!
