Torn Paper Football Craft
Get ready for some Super Bowl fun with this simple torn paper football craft!
This easy activity is perfect for kids of all ages and a great way to get into the game-day spirit.
Using just a few basic supplies, kids can create their own football while practicing fine motor skills and creativity.
Whether you’re watching the big game or just love football, this torn paper craft is a great way to keep little hands busy and excited for kickoff!
Supplies
- Football template – download the template you will need to make this torn paper football craft at the bottom of this post.
- Cardstock for printing your football template. We used green.
- Construction paper in white and brown
- Glue stick
- Acrylic paint pen in white
- Red marker
Instructions
Print our football template on high quality cardstock paper. We printed our template on 110 lb cardstock but 65 lb would work fine too.
Tear white construction paper in small pieces. Using a small amount of glue stick the pieces onto the left and right bands of the football.
Tear brown construction paper into small pieces. Using a small amount of glue stick the pieces on the whole football template.
Using a red marker, color in the mouth on the second page of the template. Cut it out using scissors and use a small amount of glue to stick it to your football.
Cut out the eyes using scissors and use a small amount of glue to stick them above the mouth.
Use a white acrylic paint pen to trace the white lines that create the football field.
Let your torn paper football craft dry completely before displaying it.
