Since Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, what better way to celebrate than with a little love-filled fun?

Pick A Starting Point

When I put together this Valentine’s Day scavenger hunt, I intentionally left the starting point open-ended.

I know every home is different, so I wanted to give you the flexibility to start wherever works best for your space.

Some of our favorite starting spots are the patio door, kitchen table, or front door—but feel free to pick any place that feels right for your adventure!

Note* There is 1 clue that’s intended to be used as the last clue.

Decide On A Special Surprise Or Prizes

Of course, you can take this idea and make it your own. Hide little prizes, treats, or small surprises along the way, leading up to a bigger gift at the very end. Imagine their excitement as they uncover each clue and find a sweet surprise waiting for them—it’s like Valentine’s Day magic in action!

If you decide to include prizes, I recommend planning ahead by making a quick list of what you’ll need. This helps keep things organized and ensures every clue is paired with the perfect little treat. Whether it’s chocolates, stickers, small toys, or heartfelt notes, adding these extras can make the scavenger hunt even more memorable!

Hide Your Clues

Now it’s time to hide your clues and get the fun started!

Place the first clue at your chosen starting point, and then hide each next clue in its designated spot until you get to the last clue.

There’s no set order except for that last clue, so feel free to arrange them in a way that works best for your home and layout.

To keep the clue cards securely in place, use a little tape or sticky tack. This way, they’ll stick to a variety of surfaces without slipping or falling off.

Once everything is set up, you’re ready for the scavenger hunt fun to begin!
